It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas J. Layde of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, born in Dyersville, Iowa, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Layde and Orella Layde; his wife Dorothy Updike; his sons, Francis "Pep" Layde and Tommy Layde; and his siblings, Florence, Collette, Bernadette, Helen, Jerry and Arian.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy; his grandchildren, Jodi VanNatta (Travis), Scott Layde (Diliana) and Jeff Layde (Jolene); his daughter-in-law Bonnie Layde Burbach; and his great grandchildren, Talan, Trevor, Gavin, Grayson VanNatta, Dejanada, Delilah, Ender Layde, Zoey, Zane and Jerzey Layde.
In lieu of flowers, a Thomas J. Layde Memorial Fund has been established.
