He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Kay and Dorothy B. Kay (Herndobler); and his brother-in-law Andrew Zaborski. He is survived by: his wife Alice T. Pluemer; his daughters, Sarah Barbian (Shawn) of Oak Creek, WI and Megan Bergholz (Andrew); his grandchildren, Ava Barbian, Nolan, Owen and Madeline Bergholz; and his siblings, Nancy Zaborski of Couer, William Kay (Judith) of Mequon, WI, Donald Kay (Heather) and Salt. He is also survived by his wife, daughters and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a Richard "Rick" Kay Memorial Fund has been established.
