He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester A. Lewis and Clara Lewis (Huff); his wife Marian E. Brose; and his sisters, April, June Roy, Helen, Betty and Dorothy "Tommy".

He is survived by: his children, Rick L. Lewis and Jae Lewis (Jesi); and his granddaughter Savannah Jo Lewis.
