He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Dietzel and Regina Dietzel (Ames); his son Alan; his siblings, Arnold and Hildegard Monner; and his siblings-in-law, Melvin, Cyril, John, Earl, Carl, Joyce and Bernadine.
He is survived by: his spouse Rose Marie Roling; his children, Karla Wiederholt (Kevin), Arlene Alt (Joe), Mary Jacobson (Brian), Linda Wiederholt (Steve) and Dallas Dietzel (Dena) of Dickeyville; his daughter-in-law Doris Alt (Dietzel) of Platteville; his siblings, Margaret Bies of Bellevue, Rosella Casper of Platteville and Edmund Dietzel (Malinda) of Dickeyville; and his sisters-in-law, Marie Dietzel of Cuba City and Mary Ann Pearce of Sparks. He is also survived by grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
