She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Helbing and Anna Helbing; her husband Jim Knaeble; her parents-in-law, Edward and Marie Knaeble; her sister Geraldine; and her brother-in-law Don "Ollie" Oliver.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Nachtman (Jack), Debi Klauer (Don), Dave Knaeble (Sandy) and Dan Knaeble; her close friend Leroy "Buzz" Risley; and her nieces, Randa Derby and Mary Ann McGrane (Carol Tressel). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, a Hazel R. Knaeble Memorial fund has been established.
