She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank VanGheem and Minnie VanGheem; her husband Jerry; her son Jim; and her brother Merlin VanGheem.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Marinette (Aggie), Tom Green Bay (Debbie) and Jerilyn Whitney (Jim); her grandchildren, Mickey Weddel (Neal), Jodi Evancheck (Joe), Robert Whitney (Jessica), Montana, Jenny Hollar, Green Bay and Lisa Gardner (Ryan); and her sister-in-law Betty Van Rens.
