Nelson of DePere, Wisconsin, born in East Moline, Illinois, who passed away on June 28, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Fisher and Mary Fisher (Dumolien); her husband Hartley Nelson; her son Scott Compton; her siblings, Larry Fisher and Doris Porth; and her daughter-in-law Joan Compton.
She is survived by: her sons, Craig Compton, Jeff Compton (Mary) and Steve Compton (Terri); her stepchildren, Brad Nelson (Jean), Colleen Janikowski (Ben), Craig Nelson (Diane) and Tim Nelson (Lori); her grandchildren, Carrie Compton, Kimberly Compton, Cole Burich, Nicholas Compton, Natalie Compton, Jen Fietz, Stacy Rukamp, Nicole Spaeth, Kelly Morehouse, Amber Bowers, Trisha Compton, Candice Powell and Caitlyn Powell; and her sister Clara Myers. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
As a precaution of the church due to COVID-19, temperatures will be taken upon arrival.
