It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert W. Sandberg of Denmark, Wisconsin, born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sandberg and Jane Sandberg (Bahr); and his siblings-in-law, Marie and Gregor Sabel. He is survived by: his significant other Joyce; his daughters, Dawn Schmidt De (Wayne), Tammy Slick and Wendy Sandberg Pewaukee (Frank Scortino); his great grandchildren, Jaxon and Parker Marie Steckart; his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Slick, Carrie Slick, Tracie Racknor (Roger), Shelly Slick (Harry Rusch) and Christopher Slick (Julie); his brother John (Sandy); his siblings-in-law, Terry, Fond, Lac, Mary Scofield (Jim), Kathy Martin (Mike), Ron Sabel (Carole), Bob Sabel and Jerry Sabel; his brother Dick; his son-in-law Bob Slick; his nephews, Jim and Jay Sandberg; and his niece Nicky Sabel. He is also survived by step great grandchildren and step great great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be put towards his wishes.
