It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Kolarik of Denmark, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Kolarik and Mary Kolarik (Cherney); his wife Laureen (Kafka); his sister Janice Kuehl; his siblings-in-law, Norbert Shefchik, Mary Ann Mincheski, Bonnie Gauthier and Denis Kafka; and his nephew Paul Shefchik.
He is survived by: his children, Jayme of Woodbury, MN and Joni of Denmark; his siblings, Mary Jo Shefchik, Robert Kolarik (Terese) and Bill Kolarik (Kandi); and his siblings-in-law, Maynard Kuehl (Ethel), Jean Minten and Larry Kafka (Donna). He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cotter Funeral Home-Denmark Chapel (536 County Rd R, Denmark, WI 54208). A prayer was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (145 St Claude St, Denmark, WI 54208).
