Mary Ellen Kubsch Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Kubsch (Denmark, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 29, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Huisenfeldt (Baumgart) and Stephen G. Huisenfeldt; her husband George B. Kubsch; her siblings, Stephen G. Huisenfeldt II, Robert Huisenfeldt and Bernice; and her siblings-in-law, Carl Kumbalek, Helen Kay Fisher and Ruthli Huisenfeldt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lauren and Kristen Wartella (Allan) of Suamico, WI.; her grandchildren, Julia Caley (Kyle), Luke Vandenberg (Cassie), Elisabeth Vento (Victor), Nicholas Vandenberg and Samara Wartella; her great grandchildren, Griffin, Gavin, Grayson Caley, Rhea, Leona Vento and Roland Vandenberg; and her sister-in-law Joyce Huisenfeldt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A prayer was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Cotter Funeral Home-Denmark Chapel (536 County Rd R, Denmark, WI 54208). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (145 St Claude St, Denmark, WI 54208).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
