He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Hansen and Vida Hansen; his son Scott Hansen; his sister Pauline Schlies (Harris); and his father-in-law Donald Kuchenbecker.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Benecke; his children, Paul Hansen, Dane, Jolee and Mark Hansen (Mary); his grandchildren, Braden (Catrina), Devon and Sophia; his siblings, Neil (Karen), Darrell (Kay), Julie Kuchenbecker and Meryl Parizek (Glen); and his mothers-in-law, Ellen Storzer (Rick) and Debbie Fredericks (Steve). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
