He was predeceased by: his parents, Bart Kobes and Theresa Kobes (Blahnik); his wife Alice Petersen; his granddaughter Amy Nysse; and his siblings, Tom, Frank (Toni), John (Adeline), Mary (Herb), Ann, Ed, George (Verna) and Jim.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Kobes (Andrea Billings), Doug Kobes (Sue), Sandy Fidler (Bill) and Karla Petrich (Steve); his grandchildren, Steven, Kevin, Michael Fidler (Chase), Missy Kobes, Minetta Lippert (Jordan), Avery Koblings, Travis and Trevor Petrich; his great grandchildren, Sully, Callie, Ben Lippert and Hazel Fidler; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Kobes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (435 Wisconsin Ave, Denmark, WI 54208). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers a Memorial Fund has been established in his name.
