It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David J. Mencheski (Denmark, Wisconsin), who passed away on October 9, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Mencheski and Martha Mencheski (VandenBerg); his grandchild Sheepshead; his wife Barb; his children, Dan Mencheski (Jane), Kathy Pantzlaff (Andy) and John Mencheski (Heather); his grandchildren, Sierra Mencheski, Savana Mencheski, Hunter Pantzlaff, Georgia Pantzlaff and Zane Mencheski; and his siblings, Mary Barrett (Sy), Rudy Mencheski, Theresa Douglas, Tony Mencheski (Marge), Raymond Mencheski, Darlene Zeitler (Steve) and Maria Arnold (Doug). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Mencheski and a brother, John "Jack" Mencheski, Jr. Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street, on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p. m. Due to concerns over the current increase in COVID-19, the family requests all visitors wear masks. The funeral services for David will be held privately on Friday.
