It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvina Schneider Bargmann (Denmark, Wisconsin), who passed away on August 31, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Smeester and Rose Smeester (Routhieaux); her daughter Virginia Schunke Saxe; her grandson Daniel; her brothers, Melvin Smeester (Dorothy), Carl Smeester (Alvina) and Henry Smeester; her sons-in-law, Don Schunke and John Saxe; and her stepson-in-law Gary Rubey.
She is survived by: her former husband Ed Schneider; her husband Herbert Bargmann; her children, Linda Arendt (Dennis), Mary Pilgrim (Joe), Ed Schneider (Molly), Tom Schneider (Karen), Don Schneider and Mike Schneider; her stepdaughter Linda Rubey; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Smeester. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and three step-grandchildren and their spouses and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
