Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Brauer and Margit Brauer (Peterson); and his wife Diane DeLap. He is survived by: his children, Michele Strassberg (Michael) of Beach Park, IL, Pamela Mendoza of Fort Worth, TX and Kenneth Brauer (Mary) of Elkhorn; and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Katy, Molly and Mateo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a humble man but felt great pride in being able to donate and support the Lutheran school.
