He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert P. Guiler and Helen Guiler (Jansen); his wife Carolyn A. McGregor; his children, Michael Guiler and Carrie Dodge (Brad); and his sister Helen Hegarty (Jim).
He is survived by: his children, Robert Guiler (Wendy), Betsy Franklin, Shirley Millsap (Michael), Nancy Snyder (Ed) and Ann Guiler; and his daughter-in-law Sandy Guiler. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, and forty-one great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
