With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn J. Cairns of Delavan, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2024 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sinda and Mae Sinda; her husband John W. Cairns, Jr.; and her siblings, Edward, Richard Sinda and Georgette Boness.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Hyde (Thomas) of Milton, WI and Karen Baker (David) of Spring Grove, IL; her grandchildren, Brian Hyde (Lisa), Kevin Hyde (Christina), Jill Gower (Joe) and Scott Baker (Laura); her great grandchildren, Jason, Jacob, Kelly, Phoenix, Wyland, Sienna Hyde, Ashton, Everett Gower, Adeline and Chloe Baker; and her siblings-in-law, Marvin Cairns (Nancy) of Belvedere, IL and Patricia Cairns of Hayward, WI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Holton Manor, 645 N. Church St., Elkhorn, WI 53121 are suggested.
