He was predeceased by: his fathers, John Boland and Tom Shallcross (Ellie); his brother-in-law Keith Shallcross; and his son-in-law Michael Dillner. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (Shallcross); his children, Leslie Warnecke (Kevin) of Delavan, WI and Sara Gregg (Ryan) of La Crosse, WI; his grandchildren, Ethan (Shelby Thicke), Camden and Declan Gregg; and his sisters, Patricia Brooks (Glen) of Plainfield, IL, Kathleen Mahler (John) of Wheaton, IL and Germaine Gill (Tom) of Lombard, IL. He is also survived by sisters and brothers in-law and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
