He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Chapin and Betsy Chapin (Gant); and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Haeft, Robert Bradley and Jerry Haeft.
He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Bradley, Jackie Haeft (Robert Carlson), Cheri Haeft of Delavan and Tammy Picard (Andy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
