She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurel DeLap and Mary DeLap. She is survived by: her husband Tom; her children, Michele Strassberg (Michael) of Beach Park, IL, Pamela Mendoza of Fort Worth, TX and Kenneth Brauer (Mary) of Elkhorn; her grandchildren, Benjamin, Katy, Molly and Mateo; and her siblings, Laurie Hazzard (Steve) and Gerald DeLap (Nancy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is the reason I became an OB nurse, She is the reason that you, Shelly and Pam were in my wedding. I just really hope that we can get together to celebrate your mom, my Aunt, and talk about the wonderful person she was, and how Tom and Diane influenced my life.
