He was predeceased by: his parents, David Harcus and Margaret Harcus (Boyd); his son David Harcus; his stepson James Bukowsky II; and his pet Maggie.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Brody Harcus; his children, Margaret and Matthew Harcus; his stepchildren, Kelly Bukowsky, Amy Neumiller (Bruce) and Beth Adkins (William); his brother Donald Harcus; his grandchildren, Melissa Benjamin (Michael), Amanda Jace (Jadon), Jackson, Eric, Justin and Emmerson; and his great grandchildren, Zariah, Zaidan and Zayn. He is also survived by nieces, nephew, family and friends.
