He is survived by: his wife Pauline A. "Polly" Godfrey of Detroit, MI; his children, Therese Lusic (Richard Thurow) of Delafield, John Schanen of Sun Prairie, Mary Ceccato (Christopher) of Pewaukee, Joseph Schanen of Germantown and Kathleen DeKalb (Gregory) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Shannon Wendlandt (Nate) of Chicago, IL and Jerry Lusic (Tiffani Rizzio) of Lakeville, MN; his great grandchild Liam Lusic of Lakeville, MN; and his siblings, Mary Schanen-Moore (Jerry) of Asheville, NC, Christine Gregozeski (John) of Port Washington, Donald Schanen (late Annette), Saukville, Herman Schanen (Marsha) of Port Washington, Paul Schanen (Olivia) of Waukesha, Kenneth Schanen of Fort Myers, FL, Steve Schanen (Debbie) of Grafton and Glen Schanen of Belgium. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
