He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman J. Schultz and Anita A. Schultz (Wenzel); his son Curt Ervin Schultz; his brothers, Robert and Herman; his niece Gwynn Torres; and his nephew Dennis Schultz.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Schultz (Mundschau); his children, Teri Wood Hintz (Dale), Lynn Schultz and John "J. J." Schultz (Barbara); his grandchildren, Stephanie Bockman (Scott), Luke Smith and Stacie Wood; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Koen Bockman and Ayelah Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
