He was predeceased by: his parents, George Berend and Nellie Berend (Landsness). He is survived by: his children, Michelle Weisman (Dennis), Kimberly Krebs (David), Steve Berend (Brenda) and Diane Dollak (Tim). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
