We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Walter Jay Mayr of DeForest, Wisconsin, born in Madison, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Mayr and Wilma Mayr (Utter); and his sister Kathy. He is survived by: his children, Nicole Anderson and Cory (Jolene); his grandchildren, Alexis, Amaya, Presley, Olivia, Zack "Big Guy", Elijah, Brielle "Smiley" and Axcell; his siblings, Betty, Bill (Cathy), Dee and Nancy; his former wife Darcy Doucette; and his pet Purdy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or UW Carbone Cancer Center.
