He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Bookhout and Grace Bookhout (Bennett); his children, David Bookhout, Paul Bookhout (Teri) and Donna Ziegler (Bill); his grandchildren, Will, Jessica, David Jr., Nicole, Matthew (Danielle) and Amy; his sisters, Joanne Quam and Carol Gumbinger (Keith); and his wife Gladys Balczewski. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
