Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Peggy Jean Lavold of DeForest, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 76, on January 24, 2025. She was predeceased by: her mother Dolores Schneiter (Unferth); her brother Glenn Schneiter; her in-laws, Fay and Maynard Lavold; and her brother-in-law Christopher Lavold.
She is survived by: her father Howard Schneiter; her significant other Don Lavold (Steve); her son Matthew Lavold (Nicole); her grandsons, Drew and Mason of Waunakee; her son Adam Lavold (Ann); her grandchildren, Connor, Kyle of Waunakee and Michael Lavold (Ali); her great grandchildren, Gabe, Ian and Reid of DeForest; her brother Gerald Schneiter (Mary) of Portage; her nephew Jon Schneiter (Andrea); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashley, Kennedy and Lylah of Portage.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ryan Funeral Homes - DeForest (6924 Lake Rd, DeForest, WI 53532). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Carbone Cancer Center: Neuroendocrine Tumor (NET) Research Fund - 112908080 in Peg's name to support the ongoing fight against cancer and help others facing this devastating illness.
