Marie Josephine Lerum Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Josephine Lerum of DeForest, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Moreth and Viola Moreth (LeRoy); her siblings, Alexander Moreth (Sonny) and Generose Landphier (Jean); and her brother-in-law Phil Landphier.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Lerum of Poynette, Mike Lerum (Andrea) of DeForest and MaryEllen Karls (Dan) of Waunakee; her grandsons, Trevor Lerum, Mathew and John Karls; and her sister-in-law Debbie Moreth. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1935 County Trunk Hwy V, Sun Prairie, WI 53590).
