He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Thur (Blaschka) and Raymond Thur of Madison; and his father-in-law Robert Nordness of De Forest. He is survived by: his daughter Kayla Nicole (Matt) of De Forest; his wife Lisa Thur (Nordness); his brother James Thur (Janel) of Neillsville; his mother-in-law Kristine Nordness of De Forest; his siblings-in-law, Laurel Nordness (Peter Klapperich) of Bristol, Karen Nordness of De Forest and Bobby Joe Nordness of De Forest; his nieces and nephews, Kyle Geil, Jordan Thur, Austin Nordness, Ayden Jacobs, Jocelyn Thur, Kira Jacobs, Kaitlyn Jacobs, Jenna Jacobs, Brinley Nordness and Naomi Nordness; and his pet Lily Rose. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
Jerry gave in death as he did in life by making the ultimate gift of being an organ donor, and his donations will help over fifty people.
