He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon McCarthy and Ruth McCarthy (Layng); his grandson Sean; and his son-in-law Robert "Bob" Riehle. He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Mink; his wife Sandy; and his children, Missy, Ann Suchomel (Ross), Kathleen "Kitty", Patrick (Nicki), Colleen, Kevin (Kristi), Kelly (Steven Meassick), Michael Grignano (Tara), Mark Grignano (Dana) and Michel Riehle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
