She was predeceased by: her mother Martha; her husband Arthur Hilgers; her brother James Hillestad; and her niece Karen Hillestad. She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Nelson (Michael); her grandchildren, Eric Nelson (Jennifer), Nichole Nelson and Stephanie Nelson; her great grandchildren, William Nelson, Austin Samuelson, Carter Nelson and Everett Nelson; her siblings, Marjorie Blumer-Darling (Dean) and Robert Hillestad; and her sister-in-law Ann Hillestad.
