He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Kort and Peter Kort; and his siblings, Arlene, Carol and James.
He is survived by: his pet Charlie; his wife Marlene Porter; his daughters, Stephanie Dabrowski (John), Michelle Kuehn (Matthew) and Alicia Kort (Jacob); and his siblings, Joyce, Joseph (Karen) and Judith. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
