He was predeceased by: his parents, Delaine Strand and Josie Strand; his wife Betty; and his brothers, Jerry and Donald Strand.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Hommen (Ron), Lori Wedeward (John), Becka Zeimet (George), Scott Strand and Corey Strand; his grandchildren, Kristin Lemke (Matt), Stephanie Shanks (Ben), Daniel Hommen, Sarah Ruh (Marcus), Michael Wedeward (Katie), Luke, Amanda (Brandon), Emily, Olivia, Jake, Hannah and Gracie Zeimet; his great grandchildren, Kain, Koal, Autumn, Maddie, Cyrus, Aubrey, Jaxon, Asher, Walker, Leighton and Ava; and his brother Bill Strand (Donna).
