It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James N. Gilbertson (Deerfield, Wisconsin), who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Gilbertson and Esther Gilbertson; and his siblings, Ron, David, Dennis and Geraldine.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Rachel Holmquist (Maxwell), Julie Emrick (Mike) and Matthew Gilbertson (Andrea); and his grandchildren, Emma, Maddox, Parker, Zane, Aina, Lilah, Paige and Isaac. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
