It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Leon Borneman (Deerbrook, Wisconsin), born in Shawano, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 28, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Borneman and Linda Borneman (Bartelt); his son Duane Borneman; his siblings, Bruce Kegley, Arthur Borneman, Berniece Petters, Laverne Carter and Shirley Zolnick; and his grandsons, Jason and Jesse Borneman.

He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Kegler; his sons, Gary Borneman (Joan) and Mark Borneman (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Kristin Borneman, Brett Borneman (Stephanie), Mike Wasmundt (Tierney) and Krystle Wasmundt. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.

Memorials may be directed to St. Matthew Lutheran Church.

“To the Borneman family. Mark, Gary and Genny you are in our prayers. Our deepest sympathy. We will try and get to the funeral home tonight if the snow isn't too deep. It's not fun losing someone but even harder around the holidays. Think of you often. The Bornemans were a big part of Deerbrook. When I was young the Deerbrook people got together and I can remember going over to your house and singing Christmas Caroles. Sincerely Tom and Kathy Wagner”
