She was predeceased by: her mother Lillian Braun (Theisen); her husband James J.; her grandson Lance Corporal John "Johnny" Mattek, Jr.; her great grandchild Klare Sundermeyer; her father Louis P. Braun; and also, Elaine, Omer "Babe" Meyer, Alice, Al Schroeder, Jim, Anne Braun, Eugene, Rita Mattek, Jack Jilek, Ron Foote, Irv Wagner, Tom VanderVeldon and Candy Robinson Fassbender.
She is survived by: her children, John Mattek (Marsha), Mary Graham (Dennis), Jim Mattek (Debbie), Judi Gunderman (Mark), Joe Mattek (Sheila), Dr. Michael Mattek (Teri) and Beth Petts (Larry); her grandchildren, Katie Devore (Mike), Jill Mattek-Nelson (Luke), Matt Mattek (Meghan), Jim Graham (Kris), Amy Hechimovich (Brad), Paul Graham (Jessica), Abby Mattek, Erin Husnick, Charlie Mattek (Kelly), Josh Mattek (Anita), Corey Mattek (Courtney), Mitch Mattek (Kassie), Kyle Mattek (Katrina), Janay Linstrom (Will), Ryan Mattek (Matt), Ashley Cribb (Robbie), Cody Petts and Mandy Mach (Teale); her siblings, Ray Braun (Dorothy), Margaret Flammond, Patricia Wagner and Carol Vander Veldon; and her godchildren, Mary Jilek, Doug Braun and Paula Hitt. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
