He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Black and Marjorie Black (Hess); his daughters, Michelle Koss and Colleen Krivoshein; his sister Patricia; and his brother-in-law William Burman.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Follstad; his children, Mark Black (Debra) of Kempster, Mary Lynn Russo of Brevard, NC, Amy Joerns (Todd) of Rhinelander and Carrie Barnes (Timothy) of Menominee Falls; his sons-in-law, Glen Krivoshein of Antigo and Tom Koss of Bryant; his grandchildren, Meghan Krivoshein, Keelyn Wallenfang (Travis), Katie Krivoshein, Adam Black (Melissa), Heidi Jaeckel (Matthew), Brady, Trevor, Aaron, Colin Koss, Angelina Russo, Lauren, Anna Joerns, Evelyn and Eleanor Barnes; and his brother Gerald Black (Kay) of Green Valley, AZ..
