He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hackbarth and Audrey Hackbarth (Van Price); his wife Carole Krall; and his siblings, Mike Hackbarth and Patricia Schulz (Fritz).
He is survived by: his children, Donna Hackbarth of Stevens Point, Cathy Igl of Antigo and Rick Hackbarth of Stevens Point; his grandchildren, Adam Igl (Carrie), Dana Packard, Megan Hackbarth and Ty Hackbarth; his great grandchildren, Aaron, Hayden and Ever; his brothers, Dan Hackbarth (Carol) of Omaha, AR, Tom Hackbarth (Linda) of Antigo and Gary Hackbarth (Nancy) of Phlox; and his sister-in-law Jackie Hackbarth of Titusville, FL..
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home & Crematory (1550 Neva Rd, Antigo, WI 54409). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Wencel Catholic Church (N5340 Church Rd, Deerbrook, WI 54424).
