She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Nichols and Earl Nichols; her husband Joseph; and her siblings, Arther, Dorothy, Dale, Joyce and Ronald.

She is survived by: her son-in-law Keith Heinzen; her grandson David Joseph Houdek; and her children, Mike Kessler (Mary), Diana Kessler, Rosemary Heinzen (late Keith), Theresa Houdek (David), Joseph Kessler (Lori), Daniel Kessler (Diane), Elizabeth Meyer (Jim), Jeanne Boyle (Patrick), Ronald Kessler (Michele) and Jennifer Bolen (Brian). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
