He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill and Gertrude Thompson; his wife Anne Parenteau of North St; his parents-in-law, Leon and Evelyn Parenteau; and his son-in-law Brad Walker.

He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Walker, Michele Miller and Jennifer Thompson; his sons-in-law, Jim Miller (Michele) and Troy Jones (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Eli (Jennifer), Johnathan Walker, Sarah Ashby (Michael Pias), Hannah Erickson, Jackson Nickolay (Hannah), Maria Booth (Adam), Luke Nickolay, James Miller and William Jones; his great grandchildren, April, Annabelle Walker and Freya Booth; and his close friend Vivian Kemling. He is also survived by many friends and colleagues, sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Williamson - White Funeral Home and Cremation Services (222 Harriman Ave N, Amery, WI 54001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
