He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Abbott and Gladys Abbott (Millard); his wife Sandra Jean of De Soto; his daughter-in-law Dawn Abbott; and his granddaughter Danielle Abbott.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Abbott (Linda) of Holmen, Curtis Abbott of De Soto, Darriel Abbott of Fennimore and Ellen Botton (Albert "Dean") of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his brother John Abbott of Sparta. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
