She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Syverson and Barbara Syverson (Ronkoske); her husband Ross C. Ames; her siblings, Evelyn Engler and Burton Syverson; and her son-in-law George Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Lysne (Gary) of Mt. Sterling, Carmen Lee of Lansing, IA, Marlene Nelson (John) of Genoa and Orin Ames (Jan) of Genoa; and her sister Carole Peterke of La Crosse. She is also survived by nieces; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
