He was predeceased by: his parents, Walford Nystrom and Margaret Nystrom (Hadrich); and his brothers, Richard, Wayne and Donald Nystrom.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Blemberg; his sons, Richard, Michael, Bradley and Gregory; his extended family, Sally Nystrom, Kay Blemberg, Ron and Sue Blemberg; and his niece Karen Dumesnil. He is also survived by wives, seven grandchildren.
