She is survived by: her husband Harold Butch; her children, Laura Zelten of Green Bay, Amy Zelten of Green Bay, Jo Ellen Zmek (Dan) of Green Bay and Meg Kolb (Craig) of Wausau; her grandchildren, Jeff Taylor, Lydia Zmek, Joe Zmek (Taylor), Allie Sacia (Marc) and Kyle Kolb; her great grandchildren, Kobus Taylor, Juliana, Theo Zmek, Emma and Sacia; her niece Darlene Amenson; her sisters, Irene Ledvina and Arlene Kozlovsky; and her sister-in-law La Verne Selner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross in Verna's name.
