It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Lafond (De Pere, Wisconsin), born in Lena, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 1, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Konop and Angeline Konop; and her siblings, Jeanette Neveu, Marian Rost, Rose Marie Krejcarek, Mildred Grooms and Ronald Konop.
She is survived by: her husband Darrell; her children, Michelle LaFond and Mark LaFond (Lisa); her grandchildren, Stephen LaFond (LaFond), Rachel LaFond, Olivia LaFond, Seth LaFond (Kuhn), Harper LaFond and Ashlin LaFond; her brothers, Wilbur Konop, Leonard Konop (Mary Ann), Roger Konop and Larry Konop (Luella); and her siblings-in-law, Roger Balthazor and Viette Hornick. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Sharon's last gift to others was the organ donation of her corneas to two transplant recipients.
