He is survived by: his sons, Dan (Kelly) and Rob (Jan); his grandchildren, Anna (Jack), Rebecca (Justin), Maria (Tucker), Jennifer (Cris) and Lewis; his great grandchildren, Lacey, Isla, Emma, Mae and Edwin; his stepdaughters, Tammy Holtz and Dena Holtz; his stepgranddaughter Shawnetta Williams; and his siblings, Warren Deau (Lois), Barb Lindsley (Mike), Curney Faltynzki (Dave), Kay Hedeen (Clem), Debbie Zierson (Scott) and Todd Deau. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
