He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; his children, Roger and Kathy; his parents, Robert and Alice; his sisters, Nancy and Diane; and his sister-in-law Margie.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Van Der (Sharon), Annette Van Der Wegen of Green Bay, Kari Van Der Wegen of Algoma, Kelly Zipperer (Kevin) of Bellevue, Randy Van Der Wegen (Bridget) of Florence and David Van Der Wegen of Green Bay; his siblings, Larry (Harriet), Lenny and Denise Schneider; and his brother-in-law Jim Kempinger. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
