He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Phillips and Dorothy Phillips (Stietz); his wife Sandra Phillips (Ropson); his siblings, Penny Thomas, Scotty Phillips and Terry Phillips; his children, Douglas Phillips, Elizabeth Stevens (Lee) and Daniel Phillips; his mother-in-law Mary Ropson; his granddaughters, Brittany, Miranda Charles and Kristina Stevens; and his children, Ira Ropson and Francis Charles (Douglas Ropson).
