He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Vos and Mary De Vos (Pinchard); his wife Evelyn; his son-in-law Ronald Backmann; his siblings, Evelyn Marsland (Al), Grace Klimek (Dan), Willard De Vos (Marguerite), Rita Cobisier (Marvin) and Mary Magdalene; and also, Clarence Minten (Dorothy) and Earl Minten (Myrtle).
He is survived by: his daughter Lois Backmann; his grandson Matthew Backmann (Brandi); and his great grandchildren, Dominik and Natalie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
