He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce D. Johnson and Elsie M. Johnson (Berken); his sister Ann Marie Johnson; his son-in-law Eric Blumreich; and his parents-in-law, Earl and Caroline Beaupre.

He is survived by: his son Pete; his wife Linda Beaupre; his children, Joel Johnson (Amanda), Jodie Blumreich and Molly McGee (Justin); his grandchildren, Adalynn, Alaina, Sophia Johnson, Emma, Clara Blumreich, Mason and Kaila McGee; his brother Bruce Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Bougie (Ken) and Tom Beaupre (Jeanne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins.
